I started my jewellery career as an apprentice in 1990. I was a hard worker and a good team player.

I worked my way up to become workshop manager. In 2003, I left this position to pursue my dream of owning my own manufacturing jewellery business.

It took five years of hard work to build up a large client base for repairs.

This meant that I could finally move to Gravesend and open my first shop in 2008.

In 2011, I had a fantastic opportunity land on my lap which made it possible to move to a much bigger unit and onto a piece of prime real estate in Gravesend’s Heritage Quarter.

A Great Opportunity

This is where Blackwell Jewellers is today. Things have only gotten better since then.

In 2015 a great opportunity arose, and I became aware of a store opportunity in the busy town of Bexleyheath.

This was far too good an opportunity to pass up, and the rest is history.

Me and my team at Bexleyheath now have the busiest and most popular jewellers in town, with many returning and happy customers.
